What is an antioxidant?

The story behind PHYTO 5000….
The development of Gematria’s new antioxidant formula is an interesting story.
Anti-Oxidant power is defined as ORAC units. This means Oxygen Radical Absorption Capacity and represents the gold standard of measuring anti-oxidant power. It is generally recommended that you consume at least 3000-5000 ORAC units per day.
This is roughly equivalent to 5-9 servings of fruits and vegetables. A good quality anti-oxidant formula might contain around 5000 units of
ORAC value for a large single serving amounting to about 2 tablespoons or more. Gematria's CEO and formulator, Dr. Todd Ovokaitys desired a formula that contained 5000 ORAC units in one, small capsule.
